The Return of (1) and Duffy!!

Duffy!!

Monday marked the return of the glorious babe Clare Duffy to Dublin, for the first time since Christmas! Girly times went into over drive this week, starting with a day of Tallaghfornia on Monday followed by some cocktails made by the cripple Rfp! Tuesday night was spent stuffing our faces with 4 in 1's from San San's a salad finger delacacy at this stage!

 On Saturday me and the girls went back in time to Whealans to try relive our youth, it was so good went out at ten, got our stamps and down the lane we went which was actually the best part of the night, can't beat a few tinnies down a lane like! Then we went in for the rest of the night and it was just as good as it always has been! Only sad part was Hyland not being able to walk out on the ledge she always used to be able to do, poor form!

A Regular Al Bundy

Well first week in the new job is going well, I'm learning the tricks of the trade from Al Bundy this guy knows a thing or two about working in a shoe shop. I hope to be as good a shoe sales assistant as him someday....

Weekend Bant

OK so weekend bant started on Friday night after my last day working out in Dundrum, got told on Friday that I got the deputy manager position in Korkys on Henry street so I am quite chuffed!! Really becoming Al Bundy at this stage!! So I celebrated with these lovely ladies on Friday night we went to Pyg and The Globe and we all got lost! Look at us all there in our leathers, like some sorta bike gang

Then woke up early on Saturday morning and remembered Eimear had told me about Ritzy Rags one fiddy sale, so I gave her a text and was on the bus within a half hour, stayed out on Friday night so Eimear kindly brought a hangover kit on the bus with her, which included dry shampoo, hairbrush, make up and ice cold water! What a woman! 

The one fiddy sale was amazing and I got these gems

I went a bit scarf crazy

Got this shirt and two other scarves for my nanny and ties for Seamus for his new bank job. Eimear went tartan crazy!!

Me and Eimear then went to see a movie at the Jameson Film festival, can't remember the name twas good though, Eimear fell asleep! The rest of Saturday was spent being lazy, Maria came over and we watched Tallaghfornia SO SO upsetting!!

On Sunday I spend the day sleeping and making a good luck card for Seamus

Chocolate Kinder Bueno Cake

For le cake you will need

350g Self Raising Flour
275g Caster Sugar
275g Soft Margarine
5 Eggs
3 Tablespoons Milk 

6 Kinder snack bars

1. Line an 8"/20cms round deep cake tin with a double layer of greaseproof paper.
2. Pre-heat oven to 150°C 300°C Gas 2.
3. Sieve the flour into a bowl and add all the other ingredients. 
4. Mix all ingredients together and break up the snack bars and mix into the mixture
5. Cook in the centre of the oven for 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours.  

For le topping you will need

6 Kinder Bueno bars

1 Small jar of nutella

1. Break up 5 of the bars and then mash them all up in a bag then place in a bowl

2. Add 4 heaped table spoons to the mixture and pop into the microwave for30 seconds

3. Mix and smear it on top of the cake

Then pop in the fridge for an hour if you want the top to harden, or eat it like Se did all melty
