A weekend of eating and shopping

Baked Eggs and Sun dried Tomatoes
For Saturday morning brunch, yes that's right I said brunch (only because I woke up a tad late and decided to be real posh) I cooked these bad boys! They were real quick and easy to make, chop up a few sun dried tomatoes and place them in the bottom of the ramekin, break an egg on top, add a few herbs then pop them into the over for 20mins or so and voilla! Next time I'm going to cook them in a giant mushroom cause I'm a mushroom fiend!

Few treats for the poorly Maria!
Went to visit Maria on Saturday night with Susan and Katie, baked her a few treats some cookies, which I cannot take credit for got a cheeky Betty Crocker mix which was real nice! Then I got some Oreos and dipped them in white chocolate with some red food dye so they were lovely and pink and added in a few Hundreds and Thousands!

Euro Shops are GREAT!!
Headed into town today for a bit of window shopping that quickly turned into actual shopping when I found a new one fiddy or less  shop in the Ilac centre where I got 90 cake cups, a pie tin, 3 cake stands two sweet cardboard ones and one metal one, old school kids cup cake baking set and yes it is Toy Story and a sweet glass jug all for ten fiddy!

And this satchel wasn't found in the one fiddy or less shop, got this out in Dundrum in Urban Outfitters it was 63euro and I picked it up for 12 blips!!!!

We conquered the Sugarloaf!!

Setting off on our journey into the mist/Sugarloaf
Trying to avoid the mud........as we did not have the proper footwear on, HUGE MISTAKE! We looked well but
Havin a little break, and trying to suss out what path to take next, because of the mist and mud we kept switching pathways and getting confused
Tuck and Louise climbing ahead into the mist
Finally at the top, where we could barely see anything
Flask of tea and sandwiches to celebrate our victory. After the Sugarloaf we headed to the lakes and had a wander, when we came across this tree, which looks really easy to climb but as we found out it wasn't quite as easy.....
Take 1
Take 2
Damn you Tuck
Take 3
After our exploring we went to Avoca for a celebratory bowl of soup!

Here's a little gem I found

This is something else I came across when I was rooting around the attic. Think this was 5th class me and Tuck won the robot making competition with this deadly robot, he even had a rocket pack made from 7up bottles! And his real original name was Rocket, we clearly used all of our creativity on the robot and not the name.

A trip to the Lighthouse Cinema

I went on a trip last week with the girlozz to check out this newly re-opened Lighthouse cinema that everyone is talking about out in Smithfield! Me and Tuck got there first and sussed out the place, its a bit weird, not your typical cinema, its more like a gallery! Its very modern looking, and you purchase your popcorn in the cafe which also sells wine, coffee, soup and sandwiches! Its very posh altogether! The girls finally arrived and we went into the screen, this for me was the best part of the whole experience the seats were all different colours and the most comfy seats I have ever sat on in a cinema! But in general, Smithfield is a trek, I like to smell the popcorn a mile away from the cinema(not the coffee) and it just looked too much like a gallery! On the plus side though the prices were very good both for the seats and the food, oh and the movie The Descendants is well worth a watch, real sad Roisin and Jennifer were in bits!
Tuck sussing out the place
Eagerly waiting for the movie to start and the cripple to arrive
After the tears stopped
